THE NORMAL HEART
A collaboration with the youth board of C.I.T.Y. Project, a CDC-funded HIV prevention program. A youth producer, director, cast, and crew mounted a terrific production of Larry Kramer’s classic play, each mentored by a Cultural Arts Program staff member or associate.
2002-2003
ARTWALLAH: THE 3RD AND 4TH ANNUAL FESTIVALS OF THE SOUTH ASIAN DIASPORA
A collaboration with The South Asian Artists Collective and The Indo-European Cultural Center. Each ARTWallah was a four-day extravaganza of film, theatre, music, performance, literary readings, visual arts exhibits, panel discussions, and more.

BODY OF FAITH
A world premiere by MacArthur Fellow Luis Alfaro, produced in collaboration with Cornerstone Theater Company. A community-based project from the research phase to the stage, Body of Faith featured a cast of 19, stunning set design, original music, choreography, video – even puppets – and presents a vision of LGBT spirituality unlike anything presented before.

BEYOND THE BEYOND: THE GAY FUTUREWORLD
A collaboration with Cornerstone Theater Company, conceived by Lynn Jeffries and Paul Zaloom, directed by Paul Zaloom. A sweet and funny look at what gay life will be like in the eons to come, created in conjunction with LGBT youth and seniors.

A collaboration with Joan Stein. A rotating cast of celebrity actors in readings of 10 short plays by major American playwrights, including Jenny Lyn Bader, Jordan Harrison, Jeffery Hatcher, Moisés Kaufman, Joe Keenan, Neil LaBute, Wendy MacLeod, Kathy Najimy, José Rivera, Paul Rudnick, Mo Gaffney, and Doug Wright.
